I am new to property ownership and have been dealing with Michael at Hydegate Estates in Amersham. I am "learning the ropes" and Michael had been kind, patient, helpful and very professional in my dealings with him. He keeps me up to date with all developments and gives helpful advice when needed. Sara from the maintenance team has also been a great help. I would recommend them. Michael goes above and beyond what I imagine is his usual remit to help me to understand how to keep our tenants happy, (which is our priority) and in business decisions. Thank you - excellent.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael and Eddie on a property. Michael initially took my call and was friendly, responsive, and got me in to see a rental I saw on Right Move immediately.
I met Eddie at the property. Michael gave me a good description of him. He was young, eager and helpful. He obviously cared about doing a good job which he did in spades!
He was thorough, Followed up with questions properly, and was very professional.
Anything he didn’t know the answer to, he got back to me very quickly after consulting with senior staff.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hydegate estates and work with Eddie or Michael in the future. Thanks!

Hydegate Estates have managed the letting of my property with high levels of professionalism for 2 years. Their services are well priced, their maintenance teams have kept the property in a good state of repair, and I've always felt informed of any concerns or issues. Importantly they have also offered excellent customer service to my tenant, which makes a landlords life significantly easier.
In particular, dealing with Michael Barrett (Lettings Mgr) has been a great experience. He's highly personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and has a been a fantastic asset to me throughout. I'd highly recommend both Michael and Hydegate Estates.

As landlords we have been using Hydegate Estates to find tenants for us for over 15 years. Right from the off we were impressed with the efficiency, knowledge and professionalism of the Hydegates team throughout the whole process. From our perspective this has meant that we have had suitable tenants for our properties and, from the tenants perspective, they can feel confident that all the necessary legal requirements/safety checks and certificates are in place. This continues throughout the tenancy when we know we can rely on Sally Simmons (admin) for support and to "check in" with us that all necessary checks are up to date and paperwork in place. Thanks Sally, it's comforting to have you there as a safety net!
Although, due to us bring in close proximity, we manage the properties ourselves, we have always felt able to call on Hydegates for advice if we have any concerns and to advise us of any changes in regulation within the industry we need to be aware of. We would have no problem with asking them to manage the properties in the future should circumstances require it.
More recently we have had dealings with Hydegates during Covid 19 lockdown & easing, when 2 properties needed to be re-let. As soon as was possible, and in keeping with Covid restrictions, they marketed and found new tenants, with Michael Barrett (Lettings Manager) & Mitchell Desborough (Lettings) being our main points of contact in viewings, documentation and check-in. Again, despite these difficult times, this was achieved to their usual high standard. Thank you.

Have just found the perfect rental property through Hydegate Estates. I found Micheal and his team, to be, honest, professional, kind and most importantly transparent, throughout the whole process. Everyone knows it can be stressful, trying to find a long term home. And I’m not very experienced in all the necessary administrative processes. But they made it as quick and easy as they could. I am now looking forward to being a resident on Amersham Hill and am super excited to say that. Also I need to thank Michael’s newest team member Eddie, who heroically dealt with everything I threw at him. He’s a natural.
